It may surprise you to know that me, a former librarian, guts books. I rip out pages. Sometimes it’s 1/3rd of the pages; other times I remove all of them. I repurpose the pages by incorporating them into mixed media art, specifically altered books. Here I removed 1/3rd of the pages and then created tuck spots and pockets with the remaining pages. This book is chunky. Chunky!
