If you’ve followed me long, you know how much I love journals. In fact, journals are usually what I create with my Gecko Galz images. And December will not disappoint!

This month I shopped my closet (using my stash instead of buying more) and found a mixed media journal book with a magnetic closure. I looked at it and thought: Christmas Dreams!

Like most scrapbook creators, I keep my holiday themed paper and ephemera in one box. I pulled out the Anna Griffith paper, purchased last year on QVC (yeah, I too fall for the crafting events), the 2 for 1 scrapbook bundles purchased last year from Michaels, and started planning out the images.

The book had two thin boxes used as packaging so the sides would not fall in. I turned those into little boxes and adhered them to the inside covers. One holds the Christmas tags and the other holds recipe cards.

The pages reflect a mood of Christmas Past and have a Victorian feel. I love it! Happy Holidays!
