Along with creating paper dolls, I continue to upcycle envelopes. This is an easy project with envelopes you receive in the mail. For free! I used Gecko Galz digital images, with some digitally altered using Canva.
The supplies include: envelope with a cellophane window; craft knife; glue stick; digital images (links below); scrap book pages; 3D flower; and a brad.

Take the envelope and carefully open all sides. I use a paper cutter and trim the sides to open. I enlarged an image from the paper collection and glued to the back. This creates the background for the pockets.
Using a craft knife, I cut the front flap in half up to the crease for the back. Fold the side without the cellophane pane. This will create the pocket. Adhere the sides to the backside of the envelope. Close the cellophane side and glue the sides. This creates the second pocket.
Collage around the cellophane pane. Place a brad in the 3D paper flower. Glue the 3D paper flower to a piece of scrap book page. I cut this one out with a circle punch. Glue along the cellophane pane.
Then collage the other pocket.
Create the digital cards to fit into the pockets. Cut out. I glued upcycled paper bags to the back sides of the envelope and cards. This strengthens the items.
This is a great papercraft gift that can hold letters, tags, or a gift card. Enjoy!
