A Smoosh Book is a journal, notebook, altered book where you apply leftover paint. It forms the background to new pages. When painting, have several on hand.

Art journals contain upcycled items. The easiest to include is paint. Sometimes when we’re throwing down layers, we squeeze out too much paint. Or we think a color will work, only to hate it. Don’t throw away the paint; smoosh it into another working journal.
